why second chance

Everyone needs a bank account and a lot of people including businessmen need a checking account. Checking account is needed for regular transactions. Most of the banks will very easily open a checking account and they will also open the savings account. Some banks charge some minimum monthly balance to be maintained else they will start charging money for the balance to be maintained.

Now before opening the bank account the banks check with a system called the Chexsystems. This Chexsystems will tell if you are eligible for opening a bank account or a checking account. In some cases this Chexsystems will tell that the person is not eligible to open a bank account.

Just imagine if you are without a checking account as a business. All your money will have to be kept with you at home. You do not even have the capability of issuing checks. That said the life can be real tough in case you are stuck in the Chexsystems or the Bad Credit or the Telechcek.

how to open a second chance checking account

The system gives those who are stuck in this to have the 2nd chance checking account also known as the second chance checking account. This second chance account is issued to those people who do not have the normal bank account. That way you will have a routing number as well as you will have the account number.

There are many banks who offer the second chance bank account or the second chance checking account or even the non Chexsystems account. A lot of banks also offer the bad credit checking account.

You will also get a proper debit card as well as these banks guarantee the accounts opening will happen without any questions asked.

Now if you have been reported for fraud then a lot of reputed banks like Wells Fargo and Bank of America will not allow you to open a second chance bank account until 5 years after that. Otherwise these banks allow the account to be opened after two years.

Chexsystems is the check verification service. In the same league is the SCAN check verification service and in the same category falls the Telecheck. In most cases there is no minimum checking amount. Of course you will have the FDIC insurance and they also have the check writing facilities. Remember that each bank ahs a different monthly charge and that can vary between the $7 - $15 and can be even more in some cases.

There are a lot of prepaid cards that offer this and there is particularly which has been there and that is the AccountNow prepaid Visa. In most cases the prepaid Visa card is nothing but a simple card and there is no account attached but with the AccountNow prepaid Visa card there is an account with an account number and a routing number.
