Articulating dual extends TV wall mount

TV wall mounts have become the most bought together thing along with lcd TV or the plasma TV. Rarely do people use the TV wall mount with a tube television. Here are three or four basic styles of wall mounts that are out there are these are  

Flush mount TV wall or the Flush mount brackets – The flush mount brackets are the simplest one with no tilt. Swivel and flexibility. Easy to install but not easy to change cables.  

Tilt TV mount bracket – This will allow the TV to tilt up or down a bit may be up to 15 or 20 degrees

Articulating TV wall brackets – These are also known as the swivel TV brackets or the cantilever TV brackets or even simply the brackets. These function as if it is the arm of a human being with a TV attached.  

Dual Arm Articulating TV wall mount  

In most cases the wall mount which is a articulating one will have only the single arm and believe that arm is quite durable but in a lot of cases where the TV are bigger and heavier the dual arm is required. The dual arm will give more robustness and sturdiness to the TV bracket.

This dual arm will be able to support the heavier TV which are more than the 40 inches and in general are heavier. That said the cost of these is definitely much more than the cost of the regular articulating arm extends. Also if you are using the dual arm TV bracket then make sure that you check the strength of the wall . In any home the best thing to do is to have the TV on the internal wall than the external wall as the internal wall is much thicker and sturdy than the exterior wall.  

Another major thing to check is that what kind or VESA holes does the wall mount support. Most these wills sport the VESA 100, 200 and 400. If you have specific need for the VESA 800 then you will have to be very careful before you even think of buying the wall brackets. In most cases the max TV weight that it can support is up to 178 lbs. Again the dual arm extend has the ability to extend up to 15” and each it can retract back up to 3.5”.

Now the challenge with the dual arm is that it can swivel much and in the case of the large screens the swivel may be up to only about 75 degrees.
