Blepharoplasty before and after
By Sandra James
All about eyelid surgery
Blepharoplasty is known as the eyelid surgery and is done by the surgical incision of the either the upper eyelid or by the surgical incision of the lower eyelid. That said the eyelids after the after a certain age will droop and the reason is that most of the muscles begin to get weak after the age of 35. When that happens the muscles will not be able to holds the skin back and there are several folds that are there on the top of the eyes.
Same happens with lower eyelids, the muscles get weakened over there and you will see that most of the people will have puffy eyes. Those puffy eyes will mean that there is excess fat that is accumulated. Again the best t way is to have the lower eyelid surgery.
Now here is my guide to before and after Blepharoplasty surgery pictures>
Look the picture and see how the upper ones are droopy and the surgeon will indeed make an incision the upper eyelid at a place where there is some crease so that the incision occurs in the natural fold and the person who has the surgery is able to walk away like nothing happened after a few days.
Sam holds true for the Asian Blepharoplasty. Take a look at the upper and the lower eyelid for the Asian females and there are no creases at all on the upper eyelid. That is where the Asian Blepharoplasty is different from the regular traditional Blepharoplasty.
Before and after blepharoplasty
Before the eyelid surgery you need to do these things
Look for a surgeon who has the expertise. Get references
Look for a surgeon who can finance the surgery or you can get you the required finance even if you have the bad credit
Apply for a two day leave so that easily rest after the surgery
Tell your parents or near and dear ones or your husband to accompany on the day of the surgery
After the Blepharoplasty or the eyelid surgery
Do not take stress
DO not let your eyes go dry
Take two three days leaves and rest at home
Make sure that the your incisions are getting healed.
If you feel that there are some issues with the cuts or there is excessive pain then check with the surgeon regarding this.
Once everything is healed make sure to compare the difference with the before the eyelid surgery pictures and you will see the difference.
If you are satisfied then write a thank you note for the doctor.
After a few years you may want to visit the doctor and get the eyelid surgery done again so that you do not get the droopy eyelids and that sleepy look. You should keep looking younger as always.

I have chosen to respond only to the Asian blepharoplasty section of this webpage, as blepharoplasty is a big topic. I think that there are many ways to perform Asian eyelid procedures. I have found that the suture-based methods have not been as reliable for long-term success in my hands. In addition, the partial-incision method has had 3 problems in my hands: one, less reliable fixation; two, a visible incision since the incision length starts and stops rather than being held in a fold; third, suture extrusion with permanent sutures coming out. Although the recovery for a full-incision method can be much longer (several weeks of looking unnatural), I prefer it because ultimately it has been the most reliable method for me to achieve long-term satisfaction in my patients. I think that in any circumstance no surgeon should condemn a procedure. I think there are many skilled practitioners of the suture-based and partial-incision methods. Thanks for allowing me to share my thoughts here.
In lower eyelid surgery procedures, fatty tissue is removed often using a transconjunctival approach. This means that the surgery is performed through the inside part of the eyelid so that no external visible scar is created. If excessive skin or muscle folds are found below the eye, an incision may also be made just below the base of the lashes. As this incision heals, the fine scar should also become barely visible.
